PHOTOSYNTHESIS, PHOTORESPIRATION AND PRODUCTIVITY OF WHEAT GENOTYPES (TRITICUM L.)
Results of the numerous measurements obtained during approximately 40 years on gas exchange intensity using of infrared gas analyzer URAS-2T (Germany), photosynthetic carbon metabolism by exposition in 14СО2 and activities of enzyme of primary carbon fixation, ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (RuBPC/O), in various wheat genotypes grown over a wide area in sowings and contrasting on photosynthetic traits and productivity are given.MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS OF SCIENTIFIC AND ORGANIZING ACTIVITIES OF PROFESSOR JALAL A. Professor Jalal A.Aliyev's fifty years dynamic researches have been devoted to the study of the theory of photosynthetic activity as a fundamental for productivity of crop plants, mainly wheat. The overall activity of these researches covers physiological, biophysical, biochemical and molecular-genetic bases of plant productivity and also the study of production processes in all levels of structural-functional organization of plant organism - from molecular to the whole plant and sowing. On these ground the following can be underlined:
